Top 5 Vintage Stores in Queens

If you’re on the prowl for statement pieces or a DIY project, head no further than this lovely neighborhood thrift shop. More an antique and vintage furniture shop than an average thrift store, Gotham is brimming with excellent, gently used large pieces at fantastic prices, as well as pieces in need of a bit of R&R at a heavy discount. A recent trip yielded a gorgeous art deco buffet for less than $200, and a fantastic tiger wood baroque-style credenza in need of refurbishing, going for around $100. And if your apartment and/or wallet can’t quite bare the brunt of Gotham’s larger wares, still stop by for a great selection of pottery and glassware, as well as a small, passable clothes section that might be more thrift-y than vintage-y, but has prices to match, including a $3 rack.
